Paws Up Therapy Dog Class
This is a small group class that covers basics of what therapy dogs and their handlers do during visits to various places such as schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Dogs and handlers will be taught how to handle the various environments that may be present during visits. Handlers will learn to recognize signs of stress in their dogs, as well as how dogs provide calming effects on people. Preparation for Therapy Dog Evaluation credentialing is included in the course. The instructor can certify teams through Alliance of Therapy Dogs. 4-Week $100
Private Training Lessons
Does your dog not "play " well with others, or you're just really nervous about your dog in a group setting? Maybe you feel your dog is aggressive or you're unsure about leaving your dog off to get trained. Never fear, we have training for you too. Our private lessons are one on one training to help address any behavioral problems and give you basic obedience commands (heel, sit, down, come, stay, no, leave it, and more). 4 lessons $450 and a free evaluation to start.
Personal Protection
This class is specifically designed to ensure your dog is still a friendly, social member of the family and not a public liability. Your dog should already have passed Basic Obedience through Off-Leash Obedience before beginning this course. By this time we know if your dog is sound to handle this type of training and know if you are a responsible owner with your training. Your dog will be taught to alert and Place themselves between you and the threat. They will NOT be trained to attack like a police k9, but rather defend their master on command when a threat arises. We will run scenarios to keep you safe during walks, while in your car, at your home, and more. The length of training depends on the dog. $4000 payment plan with signed contact.
